Job Description
Oncology Massage Therapist – Provide specialized oncology massage therapy tailored to individual patients' needs and treatment stages, collaborating with medical, nursing, and allied health professionals to deliver coordinated, person-centered care.
Required Skills & Qualifications
* Relevant qualification from an accredited training organization (e.g., Diploma of Remedial Massage Therapy or Advanced Diploma of Myotherapy)
* Completion of Modules 1–4 of Oncology Massage Training through Oncology Massage Training (OMT) or equivalent recognized training/experience in oncology massage
* Current membership with a relevant professional association (e.g., Massage & Myotherapy Australia, Australian Association of Massage Therapists, or equivalent)
* Minimum of 3 years' post-graduate experience in therapeutic massage, including experience in hospital or community health settings
