The manager for this role is Natalie Rice – Practice Lead for Optimisation and Governance Solutions. Natalie is based in Sydney.
A Solutions Sales Specialist is a strategic, customer‑focused Pre‑Sales Technical Consultant. This role plays a critical part in shaping and articulating solution narratives that align with our customers' business outcomes. The ideal candidate will bring a combination of technical expertise, commercial insight and storytelling ability to support pre‑sales and sales activities and drive engagement across stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead customer discovery sessions and develop tailored solution recommendations.
- Develop and deliver high‑impact proposals, executive‑ready presentations and technical demonstrations.
- Contribute to sales enablement through the creation and operationalisation of reusable assets, frameworks and programs.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align technical and commercial messaging across customer touchpoints.
- Support go‑to‑market planning, adoption campaigns and strategic initiatives.
Key Qualities & Qualifications
- Proven experience in solution consulting, with expertise in Software Asset Management and Microsoft Software Licensing.
- Experience with FinOps.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to influence pipeline performance and shape go‑to‑market strategies.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on executive‑ready narratives, solution proposals and presentation delivery.
- Demonstrated ability to build rapport with senior stakeholders and align technical and business perspectives.
- Experience developing scalable enablement programs, tools and sales frameworks.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work across functions to deliver consistent messaging and customer experience.
