We are seeking enthusiastic and compassionate Support Workers to provide in-home support for clients/NDIS participants who require assistance with daily life activities due to complex mental and other health issues.
Key Responsibilities
* Support and mentor male and female NDIS participants with a range of mental disabilities to increase their independence.
* Assist participants to engage in community-based activities that promote social interaction and overall well-being.
Requirements
* A Certificate III in Individual Support or higher is required.
* Experience working with people with disability who have support needs, particularly those with mental health issues.
* Skills and qualifications in medication administration and incident reporting are highly recommended.
* Understanding of quality documentation, complaints handling, and complex behaviour strategic support is essential.
* Positive attitude and strong communication skills are necessary to work effectively with participants, families, and healthcare professionals.
