In this role, you'll tackle both planned and breakdown maintenance, support apprentices and team members, document processes, and help drive continuous improvement. This is a permanent full-time position based at our Proserpine Mill which follows a year-round day work roster and may require some weekend work and overtime.

Your Role in Action
Keep Us Moving: Deliver safe, timely, maintenance and capital works while supporting asset assessment, budgeting, and cost control.Leading on the Job: Provide leadership, on-the-job training, performance guidance, and ongoing feedback to apprentices and trainees.Hands-On Maintenance: Support preventative and breakdown maintenance through fault-finding, repairs, equipment installation, and team assistance.Clear & Compliant: Complete work orders, permits, reports, and contributed to the development and review of operational procedures.Continuous Improvement: Work collaboratively to conduct inspections, identify improvements, implement corrective actions, and support continuous improvement
Your Winning Combination
We're looking for someone with a Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade and a manual driver's licence. Tickets like Dogger, Basic Rigger, Pressure welding and/or TIG experience, EWP, and Forklift are a strong advantage. Don't have all of these yet?
