Emergency Department Nurse Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Registered Nurse to join our multidisciplinary team in the Emergency Department.
This role offers a unique opportunity to broaden your skills across both the Emergency Department and the general ward, with potential pathways into peri-operative care.
* As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, working alongside a committed team of RNs, ENs, NUM and Clinical Nurse Educators.
About the Role
The ideal candidate will have recent Emergency Department experience, with triage credentialing or willingness to work towards it. They will be passionate about person-centred care and effective advocacy for patients and families.
* Key qualifications include being a current authorized Registered Nurse with AHPRA, having a strong ability to thrive in rapidly changing clinical environments and remain calm under pressure.
* The successful candidate will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team, demonstrating integrity, professionalism and cultural respect.
Benefits and Incentives
In addition to a competitive base salary, you may qualify for up to $10,000 in the first 12 months and up to $10,000 each year thereafter under the Rural Health Workforce Incentive Scheme (subject to a minimum 18-month commitment).
* You will receive up to $10,000 fortnightly payments, enjoy monthly allocated days off and annual leave: 4 weeks pro-rata for part-time; 6 weeks for eligible full-time nurses.
