Job Title: Industry Presales Lead

About the Role:

The Pre Sales Solutions Lead is a vital position that plays a key role in driving business growth and ensuring seamless customer satisfaction. This individual will work closely with cross-functional teams to design and deliver pre-sales solutions that meet or exceed client expectations.

Key Accountabilities:

* Pre-Sales Solution Design: Develop tailored pre-sales solutions for Local Government ERP opportunities, aligning with client needs and goals.
* Collaboration with Business Development and Solution Consulting Teams: Partner with these teams to win new business and drive revenue growth.
* Client Requirements Translation: Convert client requirements into compelling solution proposals that showcase the value proposition of our products and services.
* Bridge between Product, Delivery, and Sales Teams: Facilitate communication and collaboration among these teams to ensure ongoing market fit and alignment.
* Influencing Product Roadmap: Leverage insights from client engagements and market trends to inform product development and improvement.
* Proposal Quality Enhancement: Enhance the quality of proposals and presentations for key bids, EOIs, and tenders.

Key Responsibilities:

* Discovery Sessions and Solution Presentations: Lead discovery sessions and solution presentations with prospective Local Government clients.
* Tailored Workshops, Demos, and Proof-of-Concepts: Deliver customized workshops, demos, and proof-of-concepts to demonstrate value aligned with council priorities.
* RFP/RFI Responses: Contribute to high-quality RFP/RFI responses with detailed solution documentation.
* Deep Understanding of Ready Community Suite: Build and maintain a deep understanding of the Ready Community suite and adjacent platforms.
* Collaboration with Product, Technology, and Delivery Teams: Ensure solution feasibility and fit by collaborating with these teams.
* Knowledge Sharing: Actively share learnings and best practices with Sales and Marketing teams to refine positioning and messaging.
* Staying Current with Sector Trends: Stay current with sector trends, competitor activity, and evolving council needs.

Requirements for Success:

* Exceptional Communication Skills: Possess exceptional communication, facilitation, and storytelling ability.
* Simplifying Complex Ideas: Ability to simplify complex technical ideas and present them in a client-friendly way.
* Technical Knowledge: Knowledge of SaaS architectures, integration concepts, and enterprise applications.
* Domain Expertise: Deep understanding of Local Government operations, systems, and drivers.
* Success in Pre-Sales or Technical Sales Roles: Demonstrated success in a pre-sales, solution consulting, or technical sales role.
* Local Government Experience: Strong domain knowledge or experience selling into Local Government.
* SaaS Platforms: Experience with SaaS platforms, particularly those involving customer service, workflow, compliance, or community engagement.
* Public Sector Procurement: Familiarity with public sector procurement processes, including EOIs, RFTs, and multi-stage evaluations.
