Conference and Events Business Development Opportunity
Oaks Cypress Lakes Resort seeks a dynamic sales professional to drive conference and event sales, build lasting client relationships, and deliver unforgettable experiences.
* Reporting to the Director of Sales, you will be responsible for growing our conference and events business by identifying new opportunities, maintaining strong relationships with existing clients, and ensuring seamless execution of events.
* You'll work closely with commercial, food & beverage, and operations teams to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
* Develop and implement strategic sales plans for conferences, meetings, and events.
* Proactively source new business through cold calling, networking, and industry events.
* Conduct site inspections and FAM tours to showcase facilities.
* Negotiate contracts, prepare tailored proposals, and close sales.
* Collaborate with internal teams to deliver exceptional client experiences from planning to execution.
* Monitor market trends and competitor activities to stay competitive.
Requirements
* Proven track record in business development or sales, preferably in hospitality, MICE, or events.
* Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
* Results-focused with ability to meet and exceed targets.
* A self-starter with proactive, positive approach.
