We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Officer who can hit the ground running and bring their skills to strengthen our existing Finance team.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage the timely and accurate processing of outgoing payments to vendors, suppliers, and service providers
* Resolve queries and discrepancies, while fostering positive relationships with suppliers
* Prepare and execute weekly payment runs with precision
* Reconcile and prepare all taxes, BAS lodgements, and annual budgets and cash flow forecasts
* Manage our databases and maintain high levels of data integrity
* Assist in completing accurate reporting for, and managing all areas of the accounts payable duties, in addition to supporting the finance department as required.
About You
* 2-4 years' experience in an Accounts Payable or general accounting role (ideally within aged care, NDIS, community or health)
* Associate or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (CPA from recognised institutions is a plus)
* Proficiency in Xero, and strong command of Excel
* Detail-oriented, with strong problem solving and organisational skills to thrive in a busy and dynamic work environment.
