The RoleReporting into the Sales Manager, this position will be responsible for developing and guiding the implementation of Foodservice business plans; achieving account profitability, sales targets & margin budgets as well as serving as the primary account contact for End Users & Distributors within SA Foodservice regions.
Duties Manage existing clients in South Australian territory whilst developing new business opportunities.
Sell a broad range of product solutions through End Users, Distributors, and contractors while promoting their features and benefits.
Build strategic long-term relationships by delivering a consultative sales approach, identifying client needs and tailoring value-driven solutions.
Maximise sales volumes, profit, and market share by setting monthly territory plans and forecasts.
Take responsibility for the commercial management of local and state-based key accounts or groups.
Develop and manage existing major end-user accounts, ensuring successful outcomes and consistent growth.
Provide market insights on sales performance, customer and competitor activity, and emerging business opportunities.
Adopt a hands-on approach across a broad range of channels, customers, and product portfolios.
Skills and Experience Strong account management skills with 3–5 years' sales experience in food or related industries.
Strong supply chain understanding within distribution environments.
Computer literacy across MS Office applications and integrated manufacturing systems.
Excellent negotiation, influencing, and presentation skills.
Strong oral communication with a customer-focused mindset.
In-depth product knowledge and market awareness.
Solid understanding of customer, channel, and product dynamics.
