The Marketing office deliver high quality, insight-driven marketing strategies and initiatives to support the University's mission and objectives. This office collaborates with the Faculties, Schools and all Offices and Departments across the University to strengthen the University's brand and reputation.
About the role
Reporting to the National Digital Marketing Manager, you will have daily oversight of the University's digital marketing activities with a strong focus on the planning, optimisation and performance reporting of paid digital campaigns across Google Ads and paid social media channels.
The role supports the student recruitment portfolio and brand objectives through data-led campaign optimisation and close collaboration with external digital and creative agencies, ensuring consistent brand representation and measurable outcomes across all channels.
You will work in partnership with any external digital and creative agencies, to ensure consistent brand representation across all channels.
Key Responsibilities
* Contribute to the development and execution of paid digital marketing and web-based integration supporting the University's student recruitment goals and the online university brand positioning.
* Coordinate and optimise the University's digital advertising campaign on a range of platforms including paid social media and Google Ads channels; liaise with digital agencies to coordinate digital campaigns implementation across all the channels.
* Maintaining relationships with external agencies and to provide guidance, recommendations, and support across the execution of digital channel performance.
* Support in delivering the university's social media strategy, manage social media organic channels and monitor trends in social media.
* Ensuring the provision of reports, insights and analytics at regular intervals highlighting engagement, conversion, and learning to optimise the digital campaigns.
* Manage the organic social media platforms and content ensuring it represents the University's brand consistently.
* Support in the implementation of innovative web-based marketing and communications initiatives.
* Support in the implementation of email marketing campaigns.
* Assist with reporting of and evaluation of the performance of digital advertising campaigns.
Qualifications, skills & experience
* Tertiary degree in marketing and/or related degree.
* Minimum 3 years' experience in digital marketing.
* Experience working in fast paced environment and ability to manage multiple deadlines & projects.
* Demonstrated knowledge of digital marketing campaigns, channel strategies and tools to meet campaign objectives and /or student recruitment goals.
* Experience in managing and liaising with external digital agencies, to implement digital campaigns that support growth objectives.
* Experience managing different organic social media channels, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Twitter, and reporting tools.
* Advanced knowledge of content management systems, GA4, Google Ads, Google Tag Manager and Looker Studio.
* Demonstrated high-level capability in digital performance reporting and analysis, including interpreting GA4 and paid media data to produce actionable insights and recommendations for stakeholders.
* Positive and solution focused approach with the ability to be agile and adapt to change.
* Proven organisational skills and attention to detail, with a demonstrated ability to prioritise workload and to work effectively, both independently and as part of a team, meeting competing deadlines and delivering high quality outcomes.
