Exodas Pty Ltd is a well-established and growing transport company operating along the east coast of Australia, with depots or yards in Mareeba, Innisfail, Tully, Townsville, Bowen, Mackay, Warnervale, Sydney, Melbourne, and Head Office located in Yatala, QLD.
We are looking for a motivated and efficient tug truck driver to join the team at our Yatala depot.
The role:
* Movement of trailers within the depot for loading/unloading and maintenance
* Fuelling of refrigerated trailers
* Weighing off loaded trailers
* Co-ordinate with the team of tug drivers regarding daily tasks
* Friday to Monday role (5am-1-2pm finish)
* Must be able to work safely and quickly reversing trailers and uncoupling
* MUST Be able to use WhatsApp on you phone to communicate trailer movements within our office
* Based from our Yatala yard
About you:
* Ability to work unsupervised but also work co-operatively
* Be well organised and efficient
* Be competent and reliable
* Excellent communication skills
* Be fit & capable of manual tasks
* Must have full working rights in Australia
The following are desirable:
* HC or MC licence (will consider an HR licence if we see potential for training)
* Tug truck driving experience (desirable, but not essential as training will be provided)
