Our organization invites applications for a PhD scholarship in Distributed Cognitive Electromagnetic Systems.
Research Opportunity
This project focuses on developing intelligent systems that can sense, communicate, and adapt to dynamic environments. You will investigate how multiple platforms can work together, sharing information and making decisions in real-time.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and implement algorithms for distributed sensing and communication
* Develop machine learning models to enhance spectrum awareness and coordination between platforms
* Conduct experiments and simulations to evaluate the performance of the system
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have:
* Strong programming skills in Python or MATLAB
* Experience with mathematical modeling, particularly probability, optimization, and multi-agent interactions
* Knowledge of machine learning techniques, including reinforcement learning and multi-agent systems
* Understanding of signal processing concepts, such as spectrum sensing and localization
* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a research team
What We Offer
We offer a competitive stipend scholarship value, AUD 52,500 per year, and a supportive research environment.
