Site Engineer (PUP)
McIlwain, in partnership with Fulton Hogan and JF Hull, is working on the monumental Coomera Connector project, the largest road infrastructure project for the Gold Coast and South East Queensland that aims to transform the connectivity across the Gold Coast region.
McIlwain are seeking a safety focused Site Engineer to assist in major PUP works on the project. Reporting to McIlwain's PUP Manager, you will be working alongside peers from McIlwain, Fulton Hogan and Hull to provide engineering support to the project.
Duties:
* Undertake assessment, investigation and planning activities to contribute to the design and development of solutions to support a wide range of government engineering project and programs initiatives
* Monitor and report on the delivery of projects to assist the team in ensuring milestones and deliverables are met on time, within budget and to agreed quality standards
* Utilise discipline related knowledge to provide informed customer service, advice and solutions to internal and external stakeholders, referring more complex matters to senior team members
* Contribute to look-ahead planning meetings with engineers and supervisors
* Ensure all Construction Procedures, Work Packs, ITP's etc. are approved and signed off
Skills & Experience:
* Bachelor of Engineering (Civil)
* Minimum 2 years of experience post-graduation
* Experience with PUP works on a civil project
* Adept understanding of DTMR Specifications
* Strong understanding of quality control processes, procurement and program management
