About the Role
Churches of Christ Queensland are currently seeking a Lifestyle Team Leader for our Little Mountain location, working within our 96-bed Residential Aged Care Home.
As our Lifestyle Team Leader at Little Mountain Residential Aged Care, you’ll be a trusted partner in our residents’ health journeys. Working closely with a multidisciplinary team, you’ll be responsible for leading a team of Lifestyle Therapists to determine and deliver therapist activities designed to enrich the lives of our residents. You’ll enjoy the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with residents and staff alike, while contributing to a positive and supportive care environment.
About You
You are a compassionate and skilled Lifestyle Therapist who thrives in a cooperative, resident-focused environment. You bring a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset and a genuine passion for improving the lives of older Australians.
Essential
- Certificate IV in Leisure and Health
- Minimum three years’ experience in the development and delivery of leisure and health programs
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with residents, families, and colleagues.
- Currently holds, or willing to obtain a current First Aid & CPR Certificate
- Currently holds, or willing to obtain a current Police Check
- Hold valid Australian Work Rights – Unfortunately we are not currently able to offer sponsorship
Desirable
- Intermediate computer skills with the ability to use Word, Excel, Outlook and Powerpoint
