This is a reliable and very important position so please read the requirements and respond accordingly if you have the necessary experience and qualifications. The position also involves staff management and overseeing quality control.
We are a confectionery manufacturer and tourist facility located in West Gosford seeking a person with robust mechanical knowledge to maintain machinery and assist with daily tasks including assisting in production. You must also have welding experience.
Being a food safety certified business we operate a strict food safety program which is maintained on a daily basis by recording in writing all production and any maintenance that is carried out on the equipment.
Your hours may vary depending on any breakdowns or setting of production lines.
This is a salaried position therefore there is no overtime unless specifically pre arranged.
If you drive a forklift it would be outstanding but not necessary.
You need to be familiar with machines, pumps, gearboxes and mechanical systems as well as regular maintenance and lubrication of the machinery.
The Company manufactures and sells confectionery products throughout Australia and export markets.
Applicant Qualifications: If you have preferably worked in the food manufacturing industry and if possible in confectionery and hopefully have familiarity with packing machines such as flow wrappers, carton packers, conveyors, overhead weigher you would have a definite advantage.
This is a Full time position.
Starting Salary: $76,500.00 per year
Maintenance: 3 years (Preferred)
