An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced and motivated Vehicle Appraiser/Buyer to join our high-performing Pre‐Owned Sales team at Mercedes-Benz located at Mile End. About the role
* Represent Mercedes‐Benz professionally across local and interstate dealer networks.
* Source, purchase and appraise vehicles to support profitable pre‐owned stock levels.
* Generate leads through multiple channels including online platforms and service customer engagement.
* Conduct accurate and timely valuations of trade‐in vehicles for new and pre‐owned departments.
* Maintain and review vehicle appraisals, ensuring re‐valuations occur within required timeframes.
* Collaborate closely with the Pre‐Owned Sales Manager to meet stock and pricing requirements.
* Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and online auctions (including interstate markets).
* Attend and participate in auctions and tenders to support wholesale and retail vehicle activity.
* Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders, including wholesale agents, to manage stock flow.
* Ensure compliance with company policies, maintain high presentation standards, and elevate financial risks appropriately.
About you
* Previous experience in automotive sales, buying or appraisal (highly regarded).
* Mechanical knowledge or automotive background (advantageous).
* A high standard of personal presentation and professionalism.
* Strong commercial acumen and results‐driven mindset.
* Excellent communication and relationship‐building skills.
* High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
* Passion for the automotive industry.
* Current driver's licence (required).
* Ability to complete a police check (required).
