About the opportunity
You will report to the Construction Area Manager and be a key member of the Sydney Construction Team. In this highly rewarding role, your focus will be to on delivering outstanding quality homes that exceed our customers' expectations. More specifically, your responsibilities will include:
•Management of tradespeople and subcontractors on our sites across North Western Sydney
•Coordinating site logistics, material delivery, and resource allocation
•Inspecting completed work to ensure high standard of quality in alignment with construction codes and our contractual obligations
•Ensuring that homes are completed on time and within the allocated budget
•Completing project milestone tasks and other activities in our systems (Companion)
•Ensuring all visitors to sites including trades and vendors understand compliance with the company Safety Management System and the WH&S legislation and internal operating systems
•Liaising with customers and council, as required to provide an unbeatable customer service
•Ensuring that the required documentation and paperwork is completed during the building process
About you
You will share a passion for our purpose to be Australia’s number one residential builder and be aligned to our core values. In addition, you will demonstrate:
•Experience within the residential construction in a leadership capacity
•Either trade qualified or possessing a tertiary construction qualification
•A strong project management ability to coordinate multiple service providers and suppliers to complete homes expediently
•Knowledge of the basic methods, practices, tools, materials and work standards related to the building of residential homes
•The ability to identify defects or problems proactively and take the necessary actions to rectify or prevent problems in an efficient manner
•Outstanding leadership, communication, and planning abilities
