The opportunity:
We're seeking a qualified and detailed focused Spray Painter to join our team at the Launceston where you'll play a key role in restoring and refinishing our bus fleet to a high professional standard.
This is a great opportunity to apply your skills in a clean, well-equipped workshop, supported by a team that values quality, safety and pride in presentation.
You'll be involved in:
* End-to-end painting process of vehicles - sealing, sanding, masking, priming and spray painting.
* Cut & polish detailing to prepare vehicles for services.
* Ensuring all repairs meet industry compliance requirements and company expectations.
* Mentor and assist Apprentices and Trade Assistants as required whilst making sure they complete all relevant work safely and at the required quality.

The boxes you'll tick:
* Certificate III in Automotive Refinishing Technology or other relevant qualification.
* Proven experience in spray painting, preferably in heavy vehicles or large surface areas
* Medium Rigid (MR) licence or higher is preferred but not mandatory.
* Forklift licence is preferred but not mandatory.
* Good understanding of workshop operations is advantageous.
* Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
