We now have an exciting opportunity for a Production Assistant to join our Port Pirie team.

About the Role
Working across both the Production and External Services departments, you'll play a key leadership role in coordinating day-to-day operations and supporting employees with disabilities to develop workplace skills and reach their full potential.
Reporting to the Coordinating Supervisor, you will:
* Supervise small teams in production, gardening, landscaping, waste collection, and general maintenance tasks.
* Provide hands-on support, coaching and guidance to supported employees.
* Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to customer expectations.
* Contribute to a high-performing, inclusive and positive team culture.
* Promote continuous improvement, best practice, and adherence to NDIS Quality Standards.
* Provide administrative duties as required to support the supervisory team, through the documentation of client notes, data input, processing of purchase order to invoicing information.
What You'll Bring
* Previous supervisory or team leadership experience—ideally in an operational, production or outdoor services setting.
* A hands-on approach with the ability to motivate and guide supported employees.
* Skills or certifications in horticulture, landscaping, gardening, or related fields (highly desirable).
* Strong problem-solving skills, practical thinking, and a commitment to safe work practices.
* A positive, supportive and inclusive communication style.
Requirements
* NDIS Worker Screening Clearance and National Police Check.
* Current First Aid and CPR certifications (or willingness to obtain).
* Valid Australian Driver's Licence and willingness to travel between sites.
* Completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation Module.
* Working With Children Check.
* Ability and confidence to drive commercial vehicles (Ute's) with trailer in tow.
