Aircalin, the international airline of New Caledonia, is seeking a Station Supervisor to oversee its ground operations in Sydney Airport. Aircalin is looking for dynamic individuals with a strong passion for customer service.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Reporting to the Station Manager, you will ensure safe, compliant, and on-time operations while delivering high service standards to our customers.
This role requires strong operational leadership, the ability to manage multiple stakeholders, and a proactive approach in a fast‐paced airport environment.
Ground operations oversight
* Manage passenger, baggage, cargo and ramp operations during aircraft turnaround. Serve as the central point of contact for crews, service providers, airport authorities and other stakeholders.
* Monitor compliance with operational and regulatory procedures on the ground.
* Ensure corrective actions are implemented in the event of deviations or incidents.
Operational performance
* Ensure the OTP (On‐Time Performance) of flights under your responsibility.
* Coordinate the management of irregularities (delays, cancellations, passenger handling).
* Monitor the quality of services provided by subcontractors.
* Participate in the preparation and drafting of post‐flight reports, incident reports, and operational reviews.
Quality and compliance monitoring
* Ensure compliance with service standards and safety/security procedures.
* Participate in internal and external audits and propose improvement actions.
* Advise the Station Manager on potential process improvements.
Station Coordination & Support
* Prepare flights (operational files, coordinate with stakeholders).
* Manage Aircalin equipment at the station (condition, inventory, incidents).
* Distribute operational information to local stakeholders.
Participation in crisis management
* Implement initial emergency measures in accordance with procedures.
* Participate in the Local Emergency Plan and relay information to the Ground Operations Department on‐call team.
PROFILE Experience
* Minimum in airline or ground operations, or
* Minimum 3 years in a supervisory role within aviation
Technical Skills
* Strong knowledge of ramp and ground handling operations
* Solid understanding of IATA standards and procedures
* Good command of Microsoft Office tools
* Strong operational leadership and decision‐making skills
* Ability to perform under pressure and manage disruptions
* Excellent coordination and stakeholder management skills
* Strong analytical and reporting abilities
* High level of accountability and adaptability
* Fluent in English (written and spoken)
* French language skills are an advantage
EMPLOYENT CONDITIONS
* Location: Sydney Airport
* Contract Type: Part‐time (30 hours per week)
* Roster: Shift work required, including weekends and public holidays.
