Your Role in Our Team
Role
As a Fitness Trainer in our Sports and Leisure directorate, you'll be at the heart of our fitness operations. Your role will include:
* Engaging with clients to create exceptional fitness experiences
* Supervising gym activities and ensuring a safe and welcoming space
* Supporting group fitness programs and conducting fitness assessments
* Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety across our facilities
You'll work closely with team members and clients, providing expert guidance while helping us deliver high-quality services every day.
Who We're Looking For
We're after enthusiastic, community-minded fitness professionals who are ready to hit the ground running
To Be Successful In This Role, You'll Need
* Certificate IV in Fitness (minimum)
* Current CPR and First Aid certificates
* AUSactive registration
* Proven experience in a similar role with strong skills in exercise programming and delivery
* Great communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude
* A commitment to ongoing learning and professional development

* Interview date:Interviews will be facilitated within two weeks from closing date.
* Package:$58,545 - $61,927 (full time equivalent) gross p.a. plus 12% superannuation. Salary will be paid pro rata to the part time hours worked.
* Hours of work:Permanent Part Time Opportunities available, up to 25-30 hours per fortnight. Candidates must be available as rostered over a 7-day spread across various Leisure Centres.
Suitable candidates are subject to pre-employment screening which includes Reference Checks, Work Rights Verification, Identity and Functional/Medical History Checks, and will also include a Criminal History, Qualification and Working with Children Check. Employment is subject to clearance of all these checks.
