Job Title: Funding Assessor
Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced funding assessor to join our team. As a funding assessor, you will be responsible for conducting residential aged care funding assessments using the AN-ACC assessment tool.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct residential aged care funding assessments using the AN-ACC assessment tool.
* Develop and maintain relationships with clients, carers, and other stakeholders.
* Provide expert advice and guidance on aged care funding and financial management.
* Stay up-to-date with changes in aged care policies, procedures, and legislation.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A tertiary qualification in a health-related discipline (e.g., nursing, medicine, occupational therapy, or physiotherapy).
* Current and unrestricted AHPRA registration.
* Proven experience delivering clinical services in an aged care setting.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
* The ability to work autonomously and as part of a geographically dispersed team.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or other software applications relevant to the role.
* A valid NSW/ACT driver's license and access to a reliable motor vehicle.
* Willingness to obtain RAC Funding Assessor accreditation (if not already held).
