Job Description
Develop, maintain and adjust daily production schedules, ensuring changes are communicated to all relevant departments
Reconcile daily forecasts, customer orders, stock-on-hand and actual production volumes to maintain accurate planning
Liaise with Processing, Dispatch, Purchasing, QA and Sales teams to support achievement of daily sales and service targets
Monitor material requirements to identify potential stock imbalances and over/under production risks
Track and audit production, inventory and stock take data, investigating discrepancies and implementing corrective actions
Coordinate raw material and finished goods transfers across warehouse locations
Support demand and supply planning activities, including daily, weekly and monthly forecasting to maintain service levels
Enter and manage production orders within SAP and Marel systems
Maintain Excel-based planning trackers and operational reporting tools
Participate in cross-functional planning and operations meetings to support continuous improvement
The Successful Applicant
A Successful Planner Should Have
A strong background in procurement and supply chain management within the FMCG industry.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in inventory management systems and tools.
Effective communication and negotiation skills.
A proactive approach to identifying and resolving operational challenges.
A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards.
