Caval Ridge Mine is based 20kms out of Moranbah in the Bowen Basin.Working a 9 day fortnight, you will be responsible for carrying out on-site administration functions in an efficient, accurate and timely manner.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Processing fortnightly employee payroll.Creating requisitions and maintaining accounts payable workflow.Collaborating with key suppliers in relation to any procurement queries.Processing stationary orders, site consumable orders, purchase orders, uniform orders, expense claims, credit card reconciliations and any adhoc requests.Maintaining and updating the site digital directory and forms platform.Supporting the travel team with adhoc accommodation and flight bookings.Preparing monthly accruals and assisting with adhoc end of month tasks within required deadlines.ABOUT YOUThis position is ideally suited to someone who has worked in the mining or an allied industry and has the following skills:Strong administration experience with exposure to mining environment being highly regardedExperience using Microsoft Office packagesProficiency in JDE or equivalent business procurement system- advantageousStrong written and verbal communication skillsHigh level of attention to detailStrong work ethic with a positive can-do attitudeTime management and the ability to prioritising tasks and meet deadlinesThe ability to work harmoniously with other people of various backgroundsBENEFITSMonday - Friday 9-day fortnight rosterCompetitive salary packageCamp accommodation and meals provided OR living out for camp allowanceThiess' commitment to ongoing training & developmentSalary sacrifice optionsA range of corporate discounts, including health insurance (Medibank), travel & retail productsABOUT USThiess works with clients in Australia, Asia and the Americas in the dynamic field of open-cut and underground mining.The pioneering spirit of our founders - the legendary Thiess brothers and theirfamilies is our legacy, and inspires our vision to harness the power of people and technology to drive sustainable change.At Thiess, you will have the opportunity to play a part in the global energy transition.
