The Role:
* Managing day-to-day customer service queries and resolving issues promptly.
* Implementing business processes and systems to achieve customer service targets.
* Identifying and addressing root causes of service failures.
* Coordinating with operations and finance teams to meet customer demands effectively.
* Handling customer product damage and loss claims.
* Supporting business development initiatives and integrating new customer business seamlessly.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Knowledge of the Australian road transport industry and customer requirements.
* Strong relationships within the transport sector.
* Prior experience leading a small customer service team.
* Experience with TMS and BI tools.
* Strong judgment and analytical skills for consistent decision-making.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Leadership skills to train and develop the customer service team.
* Ability to prioritise tasks and stay calm under pressure.
