About your opportunity: This is an opportunity to join the Cairns and Hinterland Mental Health, Alcohol and Other Drugs Service. As a member of a multidisciplinary Child and Youth Mental Health Service you will be responsible delivering clinical services, including assessment, treatment and case management to children and youth presenting with severe and complex behavioural and emotional difficulties and mental health disorders. About your role: * Work with families and client's communities to promote recovery and community inclusion, co-ordinate/facilitate access to generic supports, services, opportunities and resources necessary to meet the consumer's identified needs and goals. * Apply professional judgement to a complex caseload, adapting routing clinical practice based on valid and reliable evidence. * Provide effective clinical care, working in collaboration with the Clinical Lead, Team Consultant Psychiatrist and the Cluster Operational Manager to ensure safe standards of consumer care. * Effectively communicate at all levels across the organisation and with external stakeholders, including non-government organisations, consumers and their carers.
