Overview
Veolia is a global leader in Water, Waste, Energy and Industrial Services. The Analyst – Waste Management Operations will support the operational performance of our Queensland operations by driving efficiency, productivity and profitability.
Responsibilities
* Conduct comprehensive analysis of operational data to identify trends, variances and opportunities for improvement.
* Monitor productivity and efficiency metrics, developing strategies to reduce costs and maximise resource utilisation.
* Analyse revenue performance and customer profitability to support pricing and contract decisions.
* Review route densities and collection patterns to identify and implement route optimisation opportunities.
* Develop and maintain reporting dashboards, KPI tracking systems and management reports to support strategic decision‐making.
Qualifications
* Experience in operations analysis, business analysis or a similar role.
* Advanced proficiency in Google Sheets / Microsoft Excel and data visualisation tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau).
* Strong ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable business recommendations.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with robust stakeholder management ability.
* Experience in waste management, logistics or service industry operations (desirable).
* Pre‐employment medical check, drug and alcohol screening and National Police Clearance required for shortlisted candidates.
