What you'll be doing
- Design, develop, and maintain simulation systems for ADF joint and multi-service training exercises
- Translate operational needs into engineering requirements and technical solutions
- Support testing and evaluation activities including test planning and analysis
- Conduct engineering investigations and manage changes under strict governance
- Ensure compliance with Defence frameworks and simulation assurance processes
- Drive system improvements through collaboration, reviews, and documentation
- Interface with stakeholders across Defence and industry to align on delivery
What you'll need
Essential
- Degree in Systems Engineering, ICT, Communications, or equivalent experience
- ITIL Foundations or equivalent real-world experience
- Robust background in simulation, ICT, or comms systems development
- Skilled in config/change management and engineering documentation
- Experience working within Defence environments and regulatory systems
- Comfortable in high-assurance, collaborative settings
- Must be eligible to access ITAR-controlled information
Desirable
- Familiarity with live, virtual, constructive simulations
- Exposure to C4I systems, DIS/HLA protocols, and Defence training cycles
- Understanding of DSEEP and Defence technical authorities
