Civmec are currently seeking experienced Boilermakers to support our upcoming CSBP work which include a 4-week shut down campaign running throughout February as well as ongoing construction and maintenance. This work forms part of the CSBP Sodium Cyanide Expansion project in Kwinana WA and is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a major industrial upgrade and work alongside a skilled, high-performing team.
The Role
Reporting to the Leading Hand/Supervisor your key responsibilities are:
1. Casual Rates plus Penalties after 36 hours
2. Site, Travel and Tooling allowances
3. Utilise all hand tools and forming machines to perform required functions
4. Perform welding techniques including, but not limited to, MMAW, FCAW, MIG.
5. Mark out steel components in accordance with engineering and detail fabrication drawings, specifications and standards
6. Interpret engineering and detail fabrication drawings, specifications and standards
7. Follow quality control systems and techniques
8. Maintain correct and accurate MARK numbers on steel components
9. Cut, notch, drill, ream, shape and form steel components in accordance with engineering and detail fabrication drawings, specifications and standards
10. Housekeeping
11. Perform other general duties as required
About You
To be successful in the role you will possess the following:
12. Available for the full 4-week period commencing 01/02/2026
13. Flexibility to work both Day and Night shift
14. Australian recognised Trade Certificate
15. Current Working Safely at Heights Certificate
16. Current High risk elevating work platform license and VOC
17. Current Drivers Licence
18. Nationally recognised Construction Safety Awareness Card (White Card)
19. Previous construction experience
20. Ability to complete and pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen.
21. Ability to pass a 3G/4G Weld Test
