THE OPPORTUNITY
We have experienced rapid growth and due to market demand are looking at the next phase of growing our dynamic team. We are seeking a proactive and creative Social Media Coordinator to support the Social Media Manager in delivering engaging content across our platforms.
This role will work on exhibitions, private events and iconic major Sydney events.
This role combines copywriting, content coordination, and hands-on content creation. From gathering information about upcoming events and projects, to being onsite capturing photo and video, you'll help bring our brand to life online.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Social Media Support
- Assist in managing day-to-day social media activity across LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and emerging platforms
- Draft and schedule engaging posts aligned with the content calendar and business priorities
- Monitor channels for engagement opportunities and respond to comments/messages
- Community engagement, replying to comments and collaborations with our audience
Content Creation & Coordination
- Work closely with our Sydney teams to gather information about events, source stories, updated and assets
- Attend events and onsite activations to capture photography, videography, and behind-the-scenes content.
- Edit content (short-form video, reels, images) to ensure high quality and brand alignment. (Capcut, premiere pro or similar)
- Support the preparation of presentations, case studies, and highlight reels showcasing our work.
Collaboration & Workflow
- Partner with the Social Media Manager to maintain a content calendar and campaign schedule.
- Provide support on creative brainstorming and trend research to bring fresh ideas to the table.
- Contribute to cross-department communications to ensure stories and successes are captured.
Analytics & Reporting
- Assist in tracking performance metrics and reporting on social media activity.
- Provide input into insights for optimising future content and campaigns.
YOUR EXPERIENCE
- 3-5 years of experience in social media, content creation, or a related role (agency or in-house).
- Strong writing skills with the ability to adapt tone and style to different platforms.
- Photography and videography skills, with hands-on editing experience (Premiere Pro, Cap Cut, or similar).
- Familiarity with social media tools (e.g. Later, Meta Business Suite, or similar).
- A collaborative team player with strong communication and organisational skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to take initiative and deliver high-quality work under deadlines.
EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS
- Diploma in Communications, Marketing, Media, Photography/Videography or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- ·Knowledge of design tools (e.g. Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) desirable.
