Job Description
The role of a Senior Rehabilitation Psychologist involves providing advanced clinical leadership and professional support to psychologists working at the Community Rehabilitation Unit (CRU).

1. Ensures evidence-based practice is provided in accordance with organisational policies and the professional code of conduct of the Psychology Board of Australia.
2. Participates as a member of the Clinical Leadership Group at CRU in the provision of strategic direction, development of clinical policies, and evaluation of rehabilitation services across the continuum of care in Southern Tasmania.
3. Provides consultancy in specialist Rehabilitation Psychology services for clients of the CRU and Statton Specialist Clinics and works as an effective member of the interdisciplinary rehabilitation team.
The Area
The successful applicant will work in adult outpatient rehabilitation service delivering a diverse range of diagnostic conditions, primarily acquired neurological conditions.

1. Work within an interdisciplinary team including Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Speech Pathology, Dietetics, Social Work, Rehabilitation Nursing, Art Tutor, Allied Health Assistants with a focus on client centred goal setting and rehabilitation planning.
2. Work with clients to achieve their rehabilitation goals in our well-equipped centre and in their home and community.
Details of Appointment
A permanent, part time, day worker position is available working 60.8 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible. Negotiation of hours may be undertaken with the successful applicant.
