About the Position
This full-time, ongoing role commencing in Term 3, 2025, involves teaching Mathematics from Years 7 to 12, including Mathematics Methods or Mathematics Extension. The school is seeking a dynamic teacher who can engage students across ability levels and support their academic progression. The successful applicant will be responsible for planning and delivering curriculum-aligned lessons, contributing to the school's academic culture, and participating in co-curricular or pastoral initiatives as part of the broader school community.
Skills and Responsibilities
Deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned Mathematics lessons from Years 7 to 12.
Prioritise student wellbeing and maintain a safe, inclusive classroom environment.
Maintain strong communication with students, families, and colleagues.
Work collaboratively with staff to enhance student outcomes and support school-wide initiatives.
Demonstrate subject expertise and leadership in teaching senior Maths pathways such as Methods or Extension.
Requirements
Registration: Candidates must hold or be eligible to obtain Queensland College of Teachers registration.
