The Position We are seeking highly skilled and motivated Psychiatrists to join a large Mental Health, Alcohol and Other Drugs Service in Far North Queensland. Psychiatrists of all specialties are encouraged to apply, with particular interest in Child and Youth Psychiatry and Rural/Remote Mental Health. These are permanent, full-time positions offering the opportunity to make a real impact across diverse communities. Health Service This Mental Health, Alcohol and Other Drugs Service provides public mental health care across a vast catchment area—from Tully in the south, to the Torres Strait Islands in the north, and west to Croydon. The region services a population of approximately 275,000 people, including a significant proportion of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
