We are seeking a commercially astute, results-oriented Account Executive to drive growth across the Australian healthcare sector, with a focus on both public and private hospitals in Victoria and broader Australia.
This role is suited to a high-performing "hunter" who excels in developing new business opportunities, managing complex sales cycles, and building long-term strategic relationships. The successful candidate will be motivated by outcomes, comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment, and capable of delivering measurable value to healthcare providers through technology-led solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Revenue Generation
* Consistently achieve and exceed annual contract value (ACV) targets through new business acquisition, expansion within existing accounts, and contract renewals.
* Build, manage, and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities to support sustainable revenue growth.
Consultative Selling
* Engage stakeholders using a solution-led approach, identifying clinical, operational, and financial challenges and aligning technology solutions accordingly.
Stakeholder Engagement
* Establish and nurture relationships with key decision-makers across clinical, operational, IT, and executive levels within public and private hospital networks.
Go-to-Market Execution
* Collaborate with internal sales leadership, marketing, and product teams to execute targeted go-to-market strategies within the Australian healthcare landscape.
* Develop a deep understanding of industry trends, procurement frameworks, and competitive positioning within both public and private healthcare sectors.
Presentations & Proposals
* Deliver high-impact presentations and proposals that clearly articulate value propositions and ROI to diverse stakeholder groups.
Cross-functional Collaboration
* Work effectively with internal teams including pre-sales, customer success, and product specialists to support the full sales lifecycle.
Candidate Profile
Experience
* Minimum 5+ years of experience in healthcare sales, with a strong track record of selling into public and/or private hospitals in Australia. Experience in SaaS or healthcare technology is highly desirable.
Industry Knowledge
* Strong understanding of the Australian healthcare ecosystem, including state-based public health systems and private hospital networks, as well as procurement and funding models.
* Demonstrated expertise in consultative and solution-based selling, including building business cases and navigating complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles.
Communication Skills
* Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
* Experience using CRM platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) to manage pipelines, track performance, and maintain accurate forecasting.
Performance Mindset
* Target-driven with a consistent record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
Network
* Established relationships within the Australian healthcare sector, particularly across hospital systems, will be highly advantageous.
