The successful candidate will lead and manage the development and implementation of eHealth assurance policies and standards ensuring appropriate policy and standards compliance with any relevant national/state initiatives or requirements and take into account the requirements of a large, diverse, geographically dispersed organisation.

You will be assessed on your ability to demonstrate the following key capabilities, knowledge and experience. Within the context of the responsibilities described above under ‘Key Responsibilities', the ideal applicant will be someone who can demonstrate the following:

* High level communication and interpersonal skills with a diplomatic approach and the ability to liaise and relate to a wide range of stakeholders including senior and executive stakeholders.
* Demonstrated experience in the development and application of assurance processes
* Previous experience managing and developing a team during change
* Experience in the development and management of contracts with external providers is advantageous
* Proven ability to lead and manage multi-disciplinary teams.
* Understanding of project management methodologies and OGC Gateway processes
* Experience working within either the Government or Health sectors
* While not essential, an understanding of the eHealth environment would be beneficial.
* Business, Project Management or ICT qualifications would be well regarded.

Specific Working Conditions:

* This role may be required to work at different locations.
