Overview
Joyce Mechanical Services is seeking an experienced
High Voltage Electrician
to join our team onsite at Dawson mine. This role is focused on supporting a large fleet of
Komatsu electric drive haul trucks
, ensuring their safe and reliable operation. It's a fantastic opportunity to work as part of a dedicated team on a long-term contract and contribute to the success of a critical fleet.
Key Responsibilities
Perform maintenance, fault finding, and repairs on heavy mining equipment with a focus on high voltage systems
Conduct inspections, testing, and servicing in line with site requirements and standards
Support planned and unplanned maintenance activities to ensure asset reliability
Adhere to site and company safety, environmental, and quality procedures
About You
High Voltage Electrical qualification (QLD Electrical Licence)
Current HV Switching ticket (or willingness to obtain)
Experience with Komatsu 830E and/or 930E haul trucks highly regarded
Sound understanding of mining industry safety requirements and standards
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
