About the Role
Help shape the future of clinician-consumer partnerships in lymphoma research globally. The SLHD Concord Repatriation General Hospital Haematology Clinical Research Unit is seeking a Project Manager (and associate-investigator) who will perform research activities to support the delivery of the MyLymphoma Research Program. MyLymphoma is a series of mobile phone Application tools that collect patient-derived data into a research platform to inform lymphoma survivorship research and improve health literacy in patients with lymphoma, focussing on Hodgkin Lymphoma, Waldenstrom's macroglobulinaemia and Follicular Lymphoma.
The role involves a mix of project planning and project management where the applicant will liaise with the research team and stakeholders to hold them accountable to deliver the research project, including managing creating stakeholder meetings schedules and drafting key research documents. The applicant will contribute to ensuring the research plan is conducted, including ensuring participant recruitment and retention are maintained, and answering queries from research participants under the guidance of the researchers. The applicant will also assist researchers in performing some project analysis and scientific writing to deliver on the research outputs.
Option for remote work after becoming established in the role and developing strong relationships with the research team.

Ideal Candidate
* Qualifications in Health Information Management, Health Informatics, Biostatistics/Statistics, or health-related discipline; or equivalent work experience; or a combination of study and work experience.
* A basic appreciation of, or willingness to learn, the methodology of utilizing smart phone applications as a research tool, with ability to liaise with the App development team.
* Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of research data collection, statistical analysis and curation trends and issues in the research environment, including thorough understanding of regulatory and ethical guidelines relevant to the conduct of clinical research.
* Excellent skills in quantitative clinical / public health / health services research, basic statistical analysis skills, evidence of excellence in report writing, with REDCap experience desirable. Demonstrated experience in database management, data analysis, data linkage, data reporting and presentation within a clinical or health service environment, including secure data handling.
* Ability to work Monday to Friday.
