About the Role: This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and detail‑focused Payroll Services Officer to join a dynamic People & Culture team.
In this role, you will:
* Deliver accurate and timely payroll processing across the employee population.
* Maintain high‑quality employee data within the HRIS system.
* Respond to staff enquiries with professionalism and a customer‑centric approach.
* Support internal mobility processes, including appointments, promotions, and allowances.
* Manage employee separations and ensure all processes are completed accurately.
* Assist with quarterly HR system enhancements, including testing and implementation.
* Contribute to P&C projects, process improvement initiatives, and operational efficiencies.
* Play a key part in ensuring HR services run smoothly and effectively across the organisation.
About You: You will bring a mix of strong technical and interpersonal skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced and supportive environment. You will have:
* Excellent attention to detail and a passion for accuracy.
* The ability to manage multiple priorities with confidence and independence.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to support staff at all levels.
* Experience in payroll processing, HR administration, or workforce data management (or similar).
* Ideally experience with Oracle or Ascender
* A proactive mindset and comfort working within policy‑driven environments.
* A collaborative approach, enjoying teamwork and shared problem‑solving.
* A customer-first attitude and a commitment to continuous improvement.
