**About the role**:

The Head of Data & Analytics promotes excellence in analytics while driving our data-led culture. As a member of the IT & Digital leadership team, you will co-design the technology strategy while leading a great team who have achieved strong recent results.
The role will enable the organisation through robust data practices, to create organisational competitive advantage through excellence in analytics and to drive a data driven culture by a relentless focus on talent, community, tools and performance.
The Head of Data and Analytics enables DuluxGroup's growth ambitions by aligning strategic corporate goals to analytical practices and insights, through people, process, and technology.
You will be seen as a thought leader in the business, constantly improving our capability and moving the practice forward.
**Responsibilities**
- Responsible for DuluxGroup data management capability by creating trust in data through robust data management and governance practices and principles.
- Accountability for Data Engineering, Business intelligence and Data Science platforms as well as descriptive analytics and visualization capability delivering world class business intelligence and analytics.
- Accountability for Advanced Analytics delivery capability to drive expanded business value through data science and predictive capabilities.
- Influencing and enhancing a data-driven culture for DuluxGroup through, community, people and talent development.
- Coach, mentor and develop a strong team.

**Skills & Experience**
- Strong experience leading a data & analytics function within a medium - large business
- Great commercial acumen and the ability to tell a compelling story
- Strong stakeholder management & relationship building skills
- A masters degree in computer science or a relevant analytical field will be well regarded but not essential
