Join our Transportation Global Business Line (TGBL) as the Strategic Business Development and Enterprise Pursuits Director, Vice President. This role leads enterprise pursuits, strategic capture management, and growth initiatives to win major new business for the TGBL. Job Description

Reporting to the Vice President (VP), Director of Strategic Business Development (Major Programs) TGBL, the successful candidate will direct and support enterprise pursuits and strategic capture management efforts for the TGBL in partnership with Global and Regional Business Lines. The role involves developing and maintaining client relationships, identifying client needs, and advancing AECOM’s growth and profitability in the market. Responsibilities

Win major strategic pursuits as the consultative sales process leader, contributing strategy, best practices, and sales leadership to drive an integrated growth strategy. Lead as Enterprise Pursuits Director/Capture Manager on enterprise-level pursuits. Understand firm-wide capabilities and bring regional and global expertise to pursuits. Partner with Client Account Managers (CAMs), Marketing, and Capture Managers to close new business, drive the sales process, prepare and facilitate presentations, RFQ/RFP responses, and complex proposals, including input to commercial proposals. Assist in developing and implementing the TGBL Growth Plan; work with Global/Regional Leaders and CAMs to define growth targets and prioritize pursuits. Coordinate with the overall TGBL Strategy and Growth Leadership; ensure QA/QC and full lifecycle management of the sales process. Build and maintain a deep and diversified qualified opportunity pipeline. Direct discovery, pre-positioning, differentiation, and delivery strategies for major programs with clients and internal partners. Contribute to Go/No Go decisions and capture management planning. Collaborate with Marketing to develop and execute strategic campaigns positioning AECOM around key opportunities. Lead pursuit team strategy meetings and coach presentation/interview teams in coordination with Marketing. Key Attributes

Client Relationships – Partners with CAMs and other representatives to manage client engagement and positioning. Growth Mindset – Drives growth by capturing new opportunities and renewing existing ones within the account. Reputation and Ethics – Advocates for ethical, safe practices; aligns initiatives with client ED&I; and ESG goals. Innovation – Understands client innovation agendas and positions AECOM solutions accordingly. Delivery Focus – Sets schedules and milestones for short-, medium-, and long-term goals; manages prospect budgets. Commercial Acumen – Understands contracts, pricing, legal risk, and governance. People Development – Coaches and mentors team members in capture management. Leadership – Demonstrates aspirational leadership and fosters diverse, inclusive teams. Qualifications

Bachelor's degree plus 12+ years of relevant experience at Director/VP level, or equivalent experience with at least 5 years of leadership experience. Proven sales production metrics and demonstrated skills in business development strategy, team leadership, client discovery, and development of compelling value propositions. Additional Information
