About the Role

Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you will take ownership of the end-to-end payroll processing across the fortnightly cycle. Your expertise will ensure our people are paid correctly and on time, and your focus on continuous improvement will help us deliver smarter, more efficient payroll services. Compliance with payroll legislation and company policies is also crucial.


Key Responsibilities

* Processend-to-end payroll, including salaries, superannuation, deductions, and tax for employees, contractors and board members.
* Manage off cycle payments, allowances and employee changes.
* Provide timely and accurate advice and support for payroll queries.
* Maintain accurate and secure employee and payroll records.
* Process and provide termination estimates as required.
* Ensure compliance with Fair Work regulations, Awards and Enterprise Agreements.
* Liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies.

Key Role Requirements

You will be a proactive problem solver who thrives on finding opportunities to improve processes. You naturally build strong relationships through your collaborative and approachable style.

* Proven experience in payroll across both blue and white collar roles.
* Experience in the aged care or disability sector is essential.
* Knowledge of Chris21 is advantageous.
* Demonstrated experience interpreting a wide range of industrial instruments.
* Generating and delivering accurate and timely payroll reports.
* A friendly, customer focused approach with strong communication skills.
* Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong problem solving and analytical skills with confident decision-making.
* Permanent working rights within Australia.
* National Police Clearance.
