Overview:


Contracts Administrator

This is a challenging role for an experienced contracts administrator to manage contractual matters effectively. The successful candidate will be responsible for negotiating, documenting, and implementing agreements according to standards.


Main Responsibilities:

* Identify and evaluate legal and commercial risks and opportunities.
* Analyze all contract documentation and associated subcontracts.
* Advise, review, negotiate, and draft agreements of varying financial and risk materiality.
* Lead the delivery of services in line with contractual and quality requirements and plans.
* Engage with clients and partners for delivery of contractual documentation.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Contract Law, Commerce, Finance, Engineering, or a related field, as well as experience in a similar role within a construction or infrastructure environment. They will also have extensive experience in construction projects (5+ years), ideally in the electrical sector, and demonstrated ability to motivate/manage teams.

Key qualifications include sound communication and negotiation skills, knowledge of legal, commercial, and risk management principles, and proactive identification, analysis, and implementation of recommendations to drive performance improvement and service delivery. A strong focus on occupational health and safety and environmental performance is required.

Candidates must possess a high level of skill and expertise in their field, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a dynamic team. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, combined with excellent written and verbal communication skills, are essential for success in this role.

Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in Contract Law, Commerce, Finance, Engineering, or a related field.
* 5+ years' experience in a similar role within a construction or infrastructure environment.

* Demonstrated ability to motivate/manage multi-disciplinary teams.
* Sound communication and negotiation skills.
