Lead a Learning Community
As a School Principal in Tasmania, you will be responsible for leading and inspiring a vibrant learning community. This role requires a growth mindset to deliver on the school improvement plan and align with the department's strategic priorities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Model and foster a culture of continuous improvement to drive educational outcomes for every student.
* Inspire others with strong leadership capabilities and create a positive culture and collaborative environment for students, families, staff, and principal colleagues.
* Develop and implement strategies to improve student achievement and well-being.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Registration to Work with Vulnerable People Act 2013: current registration and status checked at any time during employment.
* Current Tasmanian Registration to Work with Vulnerable People (Employment status).
* As per Education Act 2016, all Principals must be registered teachers with full registration under the Teachers Registration Act 2000.
* Satisfactory completion of the School Leadership and Management Prerequisites (SLMP).
Preferred Qualifications:
* Four years or more training as defined in the Tasmanian Teaching Service Award.
