Position Overview:
The Administrative Assistant will play a vital role in supporting the smooth day-to-day operations of Bains Laundries. This role involves answering phone calls, assisting with administrative and HR tasks, performing data entry, and providing general clerical support to management. The ideal candidate will be professional, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing a variety of office duties.
Key Responsibilities:
* Answer and direct phone calls in a courteous and professional manner
* Provide general administrative and clerical support to the management team
* Assist with HR functions, including maintaining staff records and assisting with recruitment and onboarding
* Perform data entry and maintain accurate records and databases
* Help coordinate schedules, appointments, and internal communications
* Manage filing systems and office supplies
* Support management with reports, correspondence, and other administrative needs
Qualifications & Skills:
* Previous experience in an administrative or office support role preferred
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) or Google Workspace
* Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism
* Positive attitude and willingness to assist across different departments as needed
