ASmith Construction QLD is looking for a skilled and reliable Floor & Wall Tiler to join our growing team on a contract/subcontract basis. You'll work across a mix of commercial and residential projects in Mackay and surrounding areas, with steady work available for the right person.
What you'll be doing
* Prepare surfaces and set out tiling work to deliver a high-quality finish
* Install floor and wall tiles to a professional standard
* Cut, shape, and trim tiles to suit corners, edges, penetrations, and fixtures
* Mix and apply adhesives, waterproofing products (where required), and grouts correctly
* Clean up and detail finished areas so the final presentation is spot-on
* Work safely on-site and follow project requirements and schedules
What we're looking for
* Proven experience as a Floor & Wall Tiler (residential and/or commercial)
* Strong eye for detail and pride in producing neat, accurate work
* Good problem-solving skills and ability to work efficiently on-site
* Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or in a team
* White Card
* Current driver's licence and own reliable transport
* Good communication and a positive attitude
