NEPEAN Belting is a leading provider of conveyor belt solutions to the mining and industrial sectors. Our services include belt installation, maintenance, repair, refurbishment and supply of new and aftermarket belting products. The Opportunity

We are seeking a driven and experienced Regional Sales Representative to join our NEPEAN Belting QLD team. Reporting to the QLD State Manager, you will be the face of our business across the Bowen Basin and surrounding regions. This is a hands-on, customer-facing role where you will manage and grow existing accounts while identifying and securing new business opportunities across mining and industrial sectors. Relocation assistance is on offer to attract suitable candidates who are considering moving to Queensland from other Australian locations.

Key Responsibilities:

* Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive growth
* Build and maintain strong client relationships across your region
* Prepare and manage quotations using established internal systems
* Follow up on quotations and convert opportunities into sales
* Act as the primary point of contact for customers, delivering sales and technical support
* Resolve customer issues and ensure positive outcomes
* Develop strong relationships and coordinate with internal teams and stakeholders across departments to deliver projects and services
* Process orders and manage projects via ERP
* Maintain accurate documentation and manage budgets
* Work within company systems and guidelines
* Ensure all activities comply with company policies and legal requirements
* Engage in ongoing training and professional development

About You

You are a motivated sales professional with strong industry knowledge and a passion for delivering results.

* Minimum 5 years’ sales experience in mining or a related industry
* A background in materials handling or conveyor systems (Ideal but not essential)
* Mechanical trade background & post trade experience (Desirable)
* Full Class C Driver’s Licence
* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
* Knowledge of surface and underground conveyor belting systems. (While not essential is an advantage).
* Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving ability
* High attention to detail
* Resilient, persistent and results-driven
* Adaptable and flexible in a dynamic environment
* Ability to undertake regional travel as required
