Summary
Warehouse Assistant supports daily warehouse operations ensuring efficient handling, storage, and distribution of goods. Key responsibilities include receiving and inspecting shipments, picking and packing orders, maintaining inventory accuracy, and organizing stock.
Job Responsibilities
* Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods.
* Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock audits.
* Ensure compliance with safety, health, and quality standards.
* Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and transportation providers.
* Supervise and train warehouse staff to improve efficiency and performance.
* Implement and optimize warehouse processes and procedures.
* Monitor and manage warehouse equipment and supplies.
* Resolve any issues related to inventory discrepancies or logistics delays.
Required Qualifications
* Developed computer skills.
* Mandatory experience using "SAP Hana" software with EWM module.
* Mandatory 'Licence to perform high risk work - class LF'.
* Current Qld driver's licence, manual vehicle operation.
* Warehouse and inventory management experience.
* Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with various service providers.
* Self‐starter with the ability to work autonomously.
