About The Role
Cater Care is seeking Expressions of Interest for a Second Chef to support the Head Chef in delivering high-quality, high-volume catering.
This is a hands‐on role with opportunity to develop leadership capability while working in a structured, supportive environment. You will be involved in daily kitchen operations, staff support, and maintaining consistent food quality and service standards.

Key Responsibilities
* Overseeing kitchen operations, staff supervision, training, and rosters
* Performing all aspects of kitchen work, including bulk cooking and tray service
* Preparing high-volume meals to specification with consistent quality and presentation
* Managing stock, ordering, rotation, cost control, and waste reduction
* Ensuring compliance with food safety, hygiene, WHS, and cleanliness standards
* Acting as a liaison between Front of House and kitchen teams
Desired Skills and Experience
About You
* Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (preferred or willing to obtain upon commencement)
* Previous experience as a Chef or Second Chef in a similar environment
* Strong organisation, multitasking, and time‐management skills
* Confident communicator with the ability to support team coordination
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
