Strength and Conditioning Coach
We are seeking a highly skilled Strength and Conditioning Coach to join our vibrant educational community. Our Co-curriculum Program aims to provide students with the opportunity to utilise their talents to make a difference in the community.
Key Responsibilities
* Design age-appropriate strength and conditioning programs for students in years 9-12 across various sports.
* Modify programs based on injuries, athlete needs, or team requirements.
* Safely and appropriately implement training loads and progressions based on athlete age, training history, sport demands, and recovery.
* Provide technical coaching and teach correct technique to maximise performance.
* Identify and correct inefficiencies or dysfunctions in fundamental movement patterns.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* A degree in exercise science or an equivalent field (in completion).
* Level 2 ASCA accreditation desirable.
* A current NSW Working with Children Check (Employment Status) essential.
* A current First Aid/CPR certification or be prepared to obtain these prior to employment.
