High-performance electronics technicians are sought after to join our team in delivering end-to-end technology solutions connecting the space, air, land, sea and cyber domains. In this role, you will be responsible for trouble shooting, problem solving and repair in support of a large fleet of SATCOM terminals and associated equipment. Returning equipment to the user in a timely manner in a serviceable condition is crucial.
About The Role
This position involves performing fault diagnosis of digital and analogue assemblies using test instrumentation and equipment in customer support environments. You will provide technical support and guidance to Maintenance Team members and support engineering functions as required. Additionally, you will use data collection tools to manage workflow and review failure trend analysis for contribution to continuous improvement programs.

* Responsible for scheduling technical resources, personnel.
* Efficient and effective product diagnostics comprising RF, digital and analogue circuits.
* Accurate data collection associated with diagnostic findings and solutions.
* Feedback to management, engineers and peers regarding diagnostics, processes and tools.
* Assistance and coaching to peers to further strengthen team capabilities.
* Maintenance of quality standards through best practice.
* Ensure that all working practices comply with Health and Safety legislation.
* Direct customer support in relation to product diagnostics as required.
* Joint weekly reporting to management team.
* Inventory management and record keeping.
Requirements
* Certificate III or higher in Electronics and Communications, or equivalent.
* Experience in Technical Maintenance of Satellite Communication and/or RF Communication equipment.
* Experience in RF, digital and analogue circuit diagnostics to module level.
* Ability to schedule and prioritise work when presented with challenging targets to meet customer requirements.
* Conducting technical analysis, communicating findings, conclusions and recommendations.
* Setting up and using test instrumentation to replicate Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) failures for diagnostics purposes.
* Strong understanding of Network Protocols.
* Minimum 10 years prior relevant experience.
